Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties with the meter readings at Exeter, we've been unable to determine individual halls' energy consumption so we haven't been able to work out a winner for the energy-saving competition. Even so, the Student Switch Off has been an invaluable tool in helping the University to identify opportunities to improve the quality of its data capture in halls. As a result, the University has made a number of improvements which will benefit students next year, and it's also installing smart meters in halls so that in the future students will be able to see their energy savings as they happen!
Over the course of the year, over 350 students in halls signed up as Eco-Power Rangers - students who pledged to use their electricity carefully and encourage others to do the same. Here's the latest breakdown of the number of students signed up as Eco-Power Rangers in each hall.
