This year we have only been able to measure the electricity usage in Southwell Hall, where there was a 5.1% reduction in electricity use over the months of October, November and February.

If these figures are indicative of the impact of the campaign across all the halls, then we estimate that electricity usage has been reduced by 13.500kWhs, which is equivalent to 7 tonnes of CO2, half a million cups of tea or 82 flights from London to Manchester.
