Overall there has been a 7.8% reduction in energy use in October, November and February compared with previous years - saving of 94 tonnes of CO2. This is the equivalent to the amount of energy used to:

  • Power a 15 watt energy saving light bulb for 1,318 years
  • Make 5.5 million cups of tea
  • Fly 1,000 times from London to Manchester
