There are a range of individual prizes on offer over the course of the year to students from within halls at UEA. To maximise your chances of winning, pledge to save energy by becoming a fan of “UEA Student Switch Off” on Facebook or join the e-mail list.

Individual incentives:

- Those living in halls who pledge to use their energy carefullyat the Freshers’ Fair will receive a Student Switch Off Fairtrade cotton bag (to help to reduce plastic bag usage).

- Regular tickets to Odeon Norwich. To maximise you chance of winning a ticket, post pictures, comments or links to climate change-related articles on the Facebook group or send them via e-mail here.

- Monthly Tickets to gigs at the LCR and fortnightly tickets to Tuesday night LCRs.

- Every month from Sept 2011 to June 2012 a student in halls at one of the participating Unis will win a year’s supply of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream* as part of the picture-of-the month competition. Click here for details of how to enter the competition.

* A year’s supply of Ben & Jerry’s equates to 6 vouchers for 500ml tubs of Ben & Jerry’s working on the assumption that the average person who eats Ben & Jerry’s has 2 tubs a year and then adding a few on for good measure!
