The Student Switch Off is running three separate competitions at UWE as some of the halls are very different to others.  So, the halls are split into three groups: 1. The Student Village, 2. City Centre, 3. The Hollies / St. Matt's.

Within each group, there are two big prizes for the block (for the Village halls) or flat (for the other halls) with the lowest energy consumption:

1. The block/flat in each group with the lowest energy usage over January and February will win a bowling night out in March

2. The block/flat in each group with the lowest energy usage over the entire academic year will win a large cash prize!

Individual incentives

There are also loads of individual prizes to be won simply by entering the Facebook photo competitions:

 - 5 weekly pairs of guestlist tickets to Propaganda

 - Odeon cinema tickets

 - Eco-gadgets, including solar-powered chargers and water-powered alarm clocks

 -Slankets (the original blanket with sleeves)

 - Ben & Jerry's ice cream vouchers
